The New Lebron Air Max Ambassador IV

 An ambassador is defined as the highest ranking diplomat who represents a nation and is usually accredited to a foreign government or to an international organization. If this is the case, then Lebron James is the Nike Shoe "Ambassador" to the country of China. He sure has been spending a lot of time there recently. In fact, King James and Nike shoe designer Jason Petrie officially unveiled the Nike Air Max Ambassador IV in China this past summer. They officially introduced the new shoe at the Nike Store in China's Chengdu, Sichuan province It is fitting that this new shoe made it's first appearance in this country. The LeBron Ambassador series has been an Asia-Pacific exclusive in its three year run.

Although originally dropped in the Far East, sneakerheads again will have the opportunity to cop a pair through online retailers. Several colorways of this high performance shoe have already dropped in a wide range of colors. An all Black, White/Black/Red, Canon/Max Orange and Black/Yellow colorways have already been released. This shoe has always been dropped at a very affordable price point in the past and this year is no different.


The Ambassador IV's upper features both leather and mesh to house the Nike Flywire carbon fiber panels. The midsole uses a combination of two Nike Air technologies. The forefoot of the midsole uses a Zoom Air unit while a Max Air unit is used in the heel section of the midsole. The shoe uses a Nike XDR outsole that is extremely durable and perfect for outdoor play.


At the current time, King James can now say he has more signature sneakers in a line of basketball shoes than any other NBA superstar. Unfortunately, he does not have a NBA Finals Championship Ring, something he feels he must have to be truly great. Regardless of the shoes Lebron finds himself in, he is going to have to put in a whole lot of time at the gym if he is going to erase the memory of last year's NBA Finals loss at the hands of the Dallas Mavericks. Or, perhaps the idea of visiting with a sports psychologist would be a good idea. Regardless of his options and what we all think, it is the King himself who has to figure it out.


In the meantime, Nike and Lebron have created an enormous amount of signature shoes that we sneakerheads can cop. From his signature shoe to the Ambassador IV and everything in between, there is so much heat being dropped. The new Lebron 9 and the colorways we have already seen are as hot as it gets.
